This part of the Summer Law School will cover Criminal Law and Family Law, allowing students to critically engage with legal issues and gain valuable skills needed for a legal career. This course will include a mock crown court trial. In-person course at Woburn House in London.
Three days of legal debate and discussion for students aged 11-14, building to a full mock trial with students taking the roles of barristers for the prosecution and defence.
The History Summer School offers a comprehensive introduction into the skills needed for undergraduate study, including questions of intellectual history and historiography. In-person at Woburn House, Central London.
The Medicine Summer School offers a chance to develop academic and practical skills and is ideal preparation for university. Includes a wide variety of medical topics from cardiology to psychiatry.
The Economics Summer School will give students aged 15-18 the opportunity to study a range of economics which is wider than that available at school and in a style which encourages active and critical engagement.
