This part of the Summer Law School will cover Criminal Law and Family Law, allowing students to critically engage with legal issues and gain valuable skills needed for a legal career. This course will include a mock crown court trial. In-person course at Woburn House in London. 
The Philosophy Summer School will tackle some of the really big questions. We will engage in lively seminar discussions, close textual analysis and exegesis (critical explanation and interpretation of a text), use thought experiments to isolate philosophical intuitions and ideas, and explore our own and others attempted solutions to philosophical problems. 
The History Summer School offers a comprehensive introduction into the skills needed for undergraduate study, including questions of intellectual history and historiography. In-person at Woburn House, Central London. 
The Economics Summer School will give students aged 15-18 the opportunity to study a range of economics which is wider than that available at school and in a style which encourages active and critical engagement. 
In our Young Thinkers Summer School we use thought experiments, philosophical debates and discussions to sharpen students’ analytical skills, introduce them to new ideas, and give them the confidence they need to argue effectively. |

This part of the Summer Law School covers civil law, allowing students to engage with legal theory and then put this knowledge into practice through lively discussions and problem questions, as well as a mock county court trial. In-person course at Woburn House in London. 
International Relations scholars strive to understand, and offer explanations for, the actions of states and international institutions and the relationships between them. This five-day course will include core theory, detailed case studies, and lots of exercises and debates to put your knowledge into practice. 
An intensive five-day Summer School looking at literature from a wide range of periods and contexts, and exploring a range of theoretical lenses, including historicist, feminist, post-colonial and psychoanalytic criticism.
